Dr. Lalit Bora (MBBS) graduated from Assam Medical College Dibrugarh in 1976 and completed his Housemanship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the same institution. He earned his Post Graduation from Guwahati Medical College, Assam in 1981, then joined the Assam Medical State Service, serving rural communities — including 12 years as In-Charge of the Obs & Gynae Department at Sibsagar Civil Hospital. He retired in 2014 as Joint Director of Health Services, Assam, and has presented at international conferences in Dubai and Vienna, Austria.
